The Gulmarg Gondola explained
The gondola runs in two stages:
- Phase 1 (Gulmarg – Kongdoori): a short ride to a wide bowl with meadows in summer and snow in winter. Suitable for everyone.
- Phase 2 (Kongdoori – Apharwat): climbs close to 4,000 m with views of snowfields and, on clear days, distant peaks. It can be suspended in bad weather and is much colder.
