What happens on a desert safari
- Hotel pick-up in a 4×4 in the afternoon.
- Dune bashing: an exhilarating ride up and down the dunes with an expert driver.
- Sunset stop: photos in the golden light.
- Desert camp: camel ride, sandboarding, henna painting and dressing up in traditional costume.
- BBQ dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Live shows: Tanoura (whirling) dance, fire show and belly dance (family-friendly).
- Drop back at the hotel around 9–10 pm.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Dune bashing is bumpy. It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with back or neck problems, heart conditions, or very young children. Tell us in advance – the driver can take a gentler route or you can join directly at the camp for the dinner and shows.
What to wear and carry
- Light, comfortable clothes and closed shoes or sandals.
- Sunglasses and a scarf for sand and wind.
- A light jacket for winter evenings – the desert cools quickly.
