A wide green meadow ringed by deodar forest, a small lake in the middle and snow peaks beyond – Khajjiar has been nicknamed India’s “Mini Switzerland”. Together with the colonial hill station of Dalhousie and the old temple town of Chamba, it makes one of the prettiest corners of Himachal Pradesh.
