Kirti Mandir
A large modern temple dedicated to Radha’s mother, Kirti, with beautiful marble work and gardens.
Rangeeli Mahal
A grand temple complex associated with Radha–Krishna devotion, known for its colourful architecture.
Radha Kund and Shyam Kund
Twin sacred ponds near Govardhan, deeply revered by devotees – often visited on the same day.
Lathmar Holi
A few days before Holi, the women of Barsana playfully “beat” the men of Nandgaon with sticks (lathis) as the men shield themselves – recreating the leela of Krishna and Radha. It’s colourful, loud and crowded. If you plan to attend, book months ahead, keep belongings minimal and protect your phone and eyes.
